Yellowstone & Montana road trippin' photos...

As promised, now that the Internet has returned in full force (in a new city [Seattle], at a new hotel [Courtyard Marriott on Westlake]), the pictures from the past few days are below.  Stay tuned for Seattle Shenanery...

Morning in the mountains of Montana.
 Beautiful country.
Big Mike at the wheel, doin' what he does...
Memorial for the 253 American soldiers who fell at Little Bighorn.
Where the bodies were actually found...
Native American memorial for Native Americans who died in battle at Little Bighorn.
 Inscription at aforementioned memorial.
 Black Beauty, crossing the road.
 Spooky tree.
 Little Bighorn landscape.
I should really look more somber, but don't know what to do in front of a camera if I'm not smiling like a fool.
 Crazy Mountains.

 Montana Ale Works, Bozeman, MT
 Workin' that ale in Montana.
 Tap room.
 Approaching Yellowstone National Park.
Duh. There's some melted frost over there ---------->

Figuring out how to use the timer.

Hot Springs.

 Fountain Paint Pot.
 Ass on fire.

 Keppler Cascades.
Large 'do blocking view of cascades.
 Female Antelope (my cousin)
Markings on her rear prove she's an antelope, not a deer...
Yellowstone Lake, with the Absaroka Range in the background.
Yes, that is snow. It gets cold here in October...
Upper Falls (Otter Creek - Yellowstone River)

 Quite a cliff.
Big Sky country for a reason...
 Morning in Ellis, MT
 Downtown Ellis.

 Main drag (Ellis, MT)

Every mile there is some other ranch in Montana, and I'm not talking ranch dressing.

Flock of Seagulls (These birds have flown.)

 "Caution: Falling Rock!"

 Snow on the range.

Art at the funky little boutique hotel we stayed at in Spokane, WA (Hotel Ruby)
